The Missing Children are five children that William Afton abducted and murdered during the Missing Children's Incident. The bodies were stuffed inside of the animatronics, and their souls later possessed them.[1]

Disclaimer: None of these children have canon names. The tabs are named based on who they possess instead.

General Information[]

Trivia[]

  • Rather than being stated, the order they died is shown in an 8-bit animation, reminiscent of the minigames in older games. The order is listed below.
    1. Foxy
    2. Freddy
    3. Chica
    4. Golden Freddy
    5. Bonnie
  • There is a possibility that The Missing Children might be Vanessa's friends before they were murdered.
  • Freddy and Bonnie are the only ones with a unique lure method;
    • Freddy's child was lured by being given a balloon.
    • Bonnie's child was given a pat on the head, and followed because of that.
    • The rest followed because Spring Bonnie (who William was disguised as) somehow persuaded them to.
  • In the Night 4 dream sequence, the children's faces blur, indicating that they are loosing their memories and identities, becoming more of the characters they possess.
  • According to Vanessa, the children never meant to harm anyone as her father is the one who is controlling them to do so.
    • This implies that the children believed that he, who was disguised as the yellow-rabbit, believed that he was their friend for 20 years until Night 5 when Abby drew a picture of him killing all of them.
  • When Abby came into the restaurant in Night 3 after Mike had to bring her due to Max not arriving, the children became obsessed into keeping her with them, especially Blonde Boy who later entered the Schmidt household as Golden Freddy.
  • Dr. Lillian (Abby's teacher) was right about how drawings can be impactful to children before they can speak; this effect has been foreshadowed by both William and Abby where one drew a picture of himself as the yellow-rabbit and the kids being friends while the other drew a picture of the same mascot actually killing them and she succeeded into making them understand the truth.
    • As already mentioned here, Abby used the same skill to show the children the truth about the yellow rabbit.

Ghost Kid (with hat) is the child possessing Freddy Fazbear in FNAF: The Movie. His canon name remains unknown.

Appearance[]

The boy appears to be white, with straight dark brown hair and brown eyes. He also wears a white short-sleeved shirt with yellow and orangish-red horizontal stripes, along with dark blue jeans and black shoes; he wears a white top hat with a black horizontal stripe in the dream scenes.

Trivia[]

  • There are fans confusing him and Ghost Kid (blonde boy) on which of the animatronic bears the two are possessing; this child was confused for possessing Golden Freddy while the other was confused for possessing Freddy Fazbear.
  • The hat he wears represents him being the soul of Freddy Fazbear.
  • While this version of the Freddy child doesn't have a canon name, fans refer to him as Gabriel in reference to his original counterpart.
  • He was seen luring Max, then pulling her into Freddy once she came to investigate and chomped half of her body, which fans thought of her death as a bite of 87 reference.
    • He also spoke on-screen when he did so.

Ghost Kid (with bunny ears) is the child possessing Bonnie in FNAF: The Movie. His canon name remains unknown.

Appearance[]

The boy appears to be brown, with short black hair and brown eyes. He also wears a dark blue long-sleeved shirt with two white horizontal stripes, along with grayish blue jeans and cool gray shoes; he wears a white headband with paper bunny ears in the dream sequences.

Trivia[]

  • The headband with bunny ears he wears represents him being the soul of Bonnie
  • While this version of the Bonnie child doesn't have a canon name, fans refer to him as Jeremy in reference to his original counterpart.
  • In the movie novelization, he's described as a girl, rather than a boy.[3]

Ghost Kid (blonde girl) is the child possessing Chica the Chicken in FNAF: The Movie. Her canon name remains unknown.

Appearance[]

The girl appears to be white, with long straight blonde hair tied into pigtails and blue eyes. She also wears a white shirt with long yellow sleeves, along with orange pants and dark gray shoes; she wears a white cardboard bib in the dream sequences.

Trivia[]

  • The bib she wears represents her being the soul of Chica
  • While this version of the Chica child doesn't have a canon name, fans refer to her as Susie in reference to her original counterpart.
  • There is a theory that her original counterpart's dog is the soul of Cupcake
  • In the movie novelization, she's described as a boy, rather than a girl.[3]
  • Unlike her game counterpart, she is not the first victim.

Ghost Kid (with hook) is the child possessing Foxy in FNAF: The Movie. His canon name remains unknown.

Appearance[]

The boy appears to be white, with short ginger hair and gray eyes. He also wears a plain long sleeved orange shirt, along with dark blue jeans and black shoes; he wears a hook made out of cardboard on his right hand in the dream sequences.

Trivia[]

  • The hook he wears represents that he is the soul of Foxy.
  • While this version of the Foxy child doesn't have a canon name, fans refer to him as Fritz in reference to his original counterpart.
  • In the Night 1 dream sequence, Mike ran after him, which resulted in the boy screaming at him with black eyes and tears as it was referencing the crying child ghost sprites from the original games.
  • In an older version of the screenplay, Foxy's ghost was described as a girl during the Pirate's Cove scene.[4]

Ghost Kid (blonde boy) is the child possessing Golden Freddy in FNAF: The Movie. His canon name remains unknown.

Appearance[]

The boy appears to be white, with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He also wears a long-sleeved brown shirt with yellow horizontal stripes, along with grayish blue jeans and light brown shoes.

Trivia[]

  • At one point, he refers to Jane, the aunt of Mike and Abby, as 'Aunt Jane'.
    • This could imply he's related to the Schmidt family.
    • However, it's also possible he simply knows her by that name from Abby.
  • The actor appears similar to the Vengeful Spirit in UCN
  • While this version of the Golden Freddy child doesn't have a canon name, fans still refer to him as Cassidy in reference to his original counterpart.
    • The major contrast between the two is that in the film, Golden Freddy's soul is a boy but in the games, Golden's Freddy's soul is a girl.
  • Some fans have theorized that it will be revealed that the Golden Freddy child is related to Vanessa in some way, many theorizing the possibility of a twin brother, although there is no evidence to support this theory.
  • There are fans confusing him and Ghost Kid (with hat) on which of the animatronic bears the two are possessing; this child was confused for possessing Freddy Fazbear while the other was confused for possessing Golden Freddy.
  • Some fans also believed that this child possess' Chica's cupcake due to it being aggressive.
  • He is the only child who doesn't wear anything that represents the animatronic on who he is possessing.
    • He is also the only child who spoke a lot in the film.
  • In one scene, Abby was able to see him after he killed Jane (which some fans believe that she may actually be unconscious).
  • Some fans also believe that the blonde boy is Andrew.
  • Unlike the other ghost kids, Blonde Boy didn't forget who he was, and was actively trying to get revenge on William Afton during the movie.[6] despite allowing the other four missing children to attack Mike when he suddenly changes his mind in keeping Abby.
    • Some fans do believe that he was also unaware throughout the film, just like the other children who were controlled by Afton until the final events.
  • His mini-game sprite has brown eyes instead of blue, as he has when he's shown on screen in live-action.
