In your travels across Kitakami in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet's DLC, The Teal Mask, you might stumble upon Billy and O’Nare. These trainers are members of something called the Glitterati. O’Nare is the president of a realty company and Billy seems to be her subordinate/hype man. After you first find them, they’ll venture all over Kitakami and Paldea. If you visit them in all their locations, they’ll occasionally battle you, but they will always give away loads of high priced treasures for you to sell for lots of dough. They’ll give you enough items to earn a total of ~1,000,000 Poke dollars, which you may need for another side quest. Learn where to find the Glitterati, what to expect from them, and what gifts they’ll give you in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

First Location: Apple Fields

The Glitterati can be found extremely early in the The Teal Mask DLC main story, like as soon as you can leave the first area. Upon exiting Mossui Town to the west and likely meeting Perrin, you’ll see a couple overseeing the town to your far left in the Apple Fields. They’re in some…interesting outfits. Speak to them and you’ll learn their names and the fact that they seem to be this game’s inheritors to Shieldbert and Swordward’s pretentiousness (albeit more benign). O’Nare will challenge you to a battle; speak to her again to initiate it.

LV. 65Persian (Kanto)Normal

Persian can be bested quickly with a Fighting-type attack, but be wary that Persian is quite fast and might be able to get a hit or two in before you’re able to take it down. It shouldn’t be too much trouble if you have something with high defenses or can deliver a quick(er) KO punch. There can be some Heracross nearby if you’re in need of some help.

Upon defeating her, O’Nare and Billy will remark about heading to “that waterfall” in Paldea. This waterfall is Fury Falls, the late-game area covered in bamboo and contains lots of Dragon-type Pokemon.

Second Location: Fury Falls

Their next area is at Fury Falls, atop the large waterfall itself. They’ll be peering over the edge, so you’ll have to climb all the way up there to find them. If you can’t recognize their gaudy outfits once again, you can probably tell it's them because no one else is really up there and they’ve got yellow dialogue boxes.

Speak to them here and get an interesting pearl of wisdom from O’Nare, but more importantly, get 15 Big Pearls from her. The next clue is the most cryptic of the entire sidequest, as your only clue is somewhere “remote between Area One and Five in South Province.”

Third Location: Plateau Between South Province Area Five and Area One

The couple will head next to an isolated plateau between South Province Area One and Area Five. The closest landmark to warp to is the Grasswither Shrine and head north or Los Platos and head east. Climb up here again and you’ll find them overlooking the area and musing at how they see…nothing, which is its own reward.

Speak to them here and O’Nare will hand over 15 Nuggets and explain that you can find something in places where there is seemingly nothing. They then give clues to their next location, somewhere in Kitakami with distinct fruit. They’re going back to the area where you first met them, the Apple Hills.

Fourth Location: Apple Hills (Again)

This time around, the two aren’t out the outskirts of the area, but rather, sort of in the middle of the entire grove. In fact, if you haven’t caught it recently, there should be a wild Tera Applin shining somewhere in the same vicinity. Speaking to them here will spark another battle.

O’Nare’s team is exactly the same as the first time, containing just a Lv. 65 Kanto Persian. The same strategies apply as last time to get rid of it quickly because it still has big speed numbers on it. Once defeated again, the wealthy duo will head to the “largest body of water in Paldea”, meaning Casseroya Lake.

Fifth Location: Casseroya Lake

For the next meeting, you’ll want to head to a small island in the southwest corner of Casseroya Lake itself. Speak to them and they’ll muse about the difference between a pond and a lake, and they’ll even ask you if you know the difference. Reply “Their depth” to make them happy, not that it affects your gift.

Whether they are happy with your response or not, your gift is 10 Pearl Strings. The next clue is somewhere with a “lofty mountain with pure, white snow” so they can “eat gelato and watch Ice Pokemon”, so there’s really only one area like that and that’s Glaseado Mountain. Granted, the mountain is pretty big, so they may take a second to find.

Sixth Location: Glaseado Mountain

Still wearing their sheer and gaudy outfits, the Glitterati are next somewhere around the northeast area of Glaseado Mountain. The closest place to fly is Montenevera and head northeast-ish.

As they wonder why you aren’t cold, they once again compliment you in their out-of-touch way and gift you with 10 Big Nuggets, the biggest stack of treasures they’ve given you by far in terms of how much money it’ll bring in. Their next sightseeing spot is their final one, as they wish to go somewhere in Area Zero so long as they get League permission.

Final Location: The Great Crater of Paldea (Outskirts)

Narrator: They did not get League permission.

Because they clearly can’t get into Area Zero, the two are in the southeastern corner atop the huge mountain surrounding the Great Crater. You can probably get there fastest by exiting east out of Mesagoza or the Pokemon Center in South Province (Area Three). Lamenting that there’s somewhere their wealth and connections can’t get them into, O’Nare challenges you to one final battle with a slightly different team.

Battle vs. O’Nare of the Glitterati
Lv.PokemonType
LV. 65ArbolivaGrass/Normal
LV. 69Persian (Kanto)Normal

Persian is more or less the same, just slightly more powerful and at the very least this time has access to Thunderbolt, so maybe don’t bring in Water- or Flying-types against it. Arboliva doesn’t have the highest stats at all, so take it out with a Flying-, Bug-, or Fire-type move or Pokemon. Remember that it is part Normal-type, so Ghost-type moves won’t hit it if you use those.

Upon this final defeat, O’Nare takes it in stride and gifts you with 25 Big Nuggets for an even huger haul than before. You’ll also receive the Glitterati Case for your Rotom Phone and Billy will teach you the “Oh No!” emote for some reason.
