PADI eLearning FAQs
Get answers to the most common questions about PADI’s online courses.
How long do I have access to my eLearning program?
The most popular online PADI programs do not expire. Take as much time as you need to complete: Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Diver and the Instructor Development Course (IDC). After finishing your online training, you can go back and review the study material as many times and for as long as you want.
For PADI eLearning programs not listed above, access expires after 12 months. You’ll receive an email 90 days and 60 days before access to the program expires. If you lose access, don’t worry, you can still complete your training. Contact a PADI Shop to discuss your options.
I want to change the PADI Dive Shop associated with my course
Once registered, you can’t change the PADI Dive Center or Resort associated with your online program; however, you may complete your training with any PADI Dive Center, Resort or Instructor worldwide. Where you complete your training is up to you, so it’s not necessary to change the store or instructor associated with your online program.
Can I buy a PADI eLearning program as a gift?
Of course! PADI eLearning gift passes allow you to give the gift of scuba diving to anyone in the world with an email address. You can even include a custom gift message. Visit the PADI eLearning gift pass page to learn more or purchase a program.
How do I access my online material offline?
If you plan to be somewhere without internet access, use the PADI Training app to download course content in advance. Use the app to study offline, and when your internet connection is restored, upload your progress.
The PADI Training app is available for Android and iOS. For the ideal experience, devices should be no more than 3 models old and updated with the most current OS.
You don’t need the PADI Training app to access your online material, only offline. You can use a mobile browser or desktop/laptop browser to complete your scuba training online whenever you have an internet connection.
I can’t remember my PADI eLearning login
Your PADI eLearning username is the email address you used during registration. If you have already tried your primary email, try any secondary or older email addresses. Your password information will be sent to the email address associated with your account. If you’ve forgotten your password, you may also reset your password.
