The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is gearing up for the second of its 2023 weekends from April 21-23. Bad Bunny and Blackpink will return to headline the festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Yesterday, Frank Ocean canceled his second set citing injury, after headlining the first weekend. Blink-182, after playing on a side stage on the first weekend’s Friday, will now perform on the main stage on Sunday night at 9:20 p.m Pacific. After them is a set from Fred Again.., Four Tet, and Skrillex that’s scheduled to begin at 10:25 p.m. Rosalía, Gorillaz, Boygenius, Charli XCX, Björk, Kali Uchis, and Jai Paul, among others will return for the festival’s second weekend. To recap: The first weekend featured Jai Paul’s first-ever concert, the debut of Blink-182’s classic lineup reunion, surprises from Rosalía (who brought out fiancé Rauw Alejandro), Charli XCX (who brought “1999” guest Troye Sivan), Metro Boomin (whose many guests included one of last year’s headliners, the Weeknd), Kali Uchis (featuring Tyler, the Creator, Omar Apollo, and Don Toliver), Gorillaz (featuring De La Soul, Thundercat, Slowthai, and more), and many others. Blackpink made K-pop history, Bad Bunny fell foul of an accidental Harry Styles diss, and Frank Ocean reworked his catalog while performing with a supposed ankle injury.
